Catherine Outwin A full time artist with a young family, Catherine is fortunate to have a dedicated studio from which to work and create her highly coloured and tactile paintings. She works with such diverse media as resins, oils, acrylics and artists moulding medium on Tapa cloth, hardboard, Fiji Kauri board and canvas. Catherine enjoys the experience of creating something people want to touch. Following a Certificate course at MIT in Visual Arts, among many other qualifications, Catherine has been part of many group and solo exhibitions since 2003.
Extensive travels overseas and a widely varied career in the performing arts
and Computer Consultancy for 12
years are only some of the experiences Catherine brings to her art. Her work sells quickly into
