Joy Bell

An artist from a very young age, Joy’s love of art has taken her around the world and to Elam Art School. After working as a commercial artist in London, Joy returned home to NZ and opened a gallery in Auckland at age 25. This ‘morphed’ into an Antique business over the 12 years of ownership.

Furthering her study of the art of Mosaic in the USA has opened Joy’s eyes to the incredible creativity of the medium she is passionate about. Her work is imaginative and varied, using decoupage as much as tile and innovative objet d’art incorporated into the design.

A Rodney District resident, Joy’s mosaics can be seen on the public toilets beside the Orewa Library and the outside of the Silverdale Primary School to name just two. She loves to share her talent with the community.
