Cynthia Korb Born in South Africa, Cynthia started pottery in 1979. Her passion then was making large pots but since immigrating to NZ, she has favoured the human form. Working with the Raku process she adds form, texture and colour to make each piece unique. Each piece is hand built using Raku clay or Paper clay. Raku is the lowest fired of all pottery and the outcome is not at all predictable. This aspect of the process is an asset to those artists on the road of self-expression and discovery. She draws on the energy of the surroundings of NZ and is inspired by the natural environment around her. Price Indication $200 - $300
