Kylie Hughes After 5 Years of study at Design School and then 8 years working as an Art Director in Advertising, Kylie is finally able to take time out in her new dedicated art studio at home. Aside from her day jobs as Mum and freelance artist, Kylie manages several hours a day painting for pleasure. Kylie is in great demand for commissioned artwork and enjoys commercial success with her own choice of subjects through prominent galleries in NZ, the USA and Japan. Her work is all about ‘Shape’ and ‘Texture’ no matter the medium. The decision to frame her delicate acrylics in modern Italian frames speaks to this. Kylie’s sense of humour is apparent in the naming of each painting.
