Jane Santos

In 2002 Jane took early retirement from her full-time teaching career and moved to NZ to join her family and to pursue mosaics on a full time basis.

Jane has a gallery at her home on the Kapiti Coast where she works on her art most days. We are proud to represent Jane as the only other gallery in NZ to show her work.

Jane comes from a long line of English artist. She holds a Master of Arts in Education, and moved into mosaics from creative embroidery, after being inspired  by some of the English mosaic masters. She spent many years juggling her art with full time teaching.

Jane is a member of the British Assoc. for Modern Mosaics and the Mosaic Assoc. of Australia and New Zealand. She exhibits widely throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Jane loves to do commissions, so feel free to discuss this with Gallery staff.
