Keith Cagney

Wellington artist/cartoonist Eric Heath has painstakingly rendered as many NZ fish as he could find,  in the watercolour medium. Most of these would not have seen the light of day but for the interest of Keith Cagney, who not only appreciated the fine work by Heath, but felt they had a commercial value and obtained the copyright from Heath.

Cagney has spent six years, the last one year full time,  on digitizing the work of Eric Heath in order to bring it to the wider public. These beautifully reproduced works are presented in a traditional style with the Latin names and titles. Cagney is an artist in his own right, displaying these fabulous reproductions in the best possible light and as creatively as possible.

A perfectionist by nature, Cagney has taken the original work and enhanced it in order to make the work attractive and collectable.

We applaud the work of Eric Heath and in turn Keith Cagney in bringing this stunning work to our attention.
