Rachell Jones

The winner of three merit awards from successive Royal Easter Shows, 2006, 2007 and 2008, Rachell’s detail oriented  floral oil paintings go from strength to strength.

She delights in the inspiration drawn from NZ fauna and flora. Rachell particularly enjoys strong and resilient flowers such as Roses and Magnolias because of their emotive associations and sense of fragility.

A significant portion of her work is commission based as her artwork is highly collectable.

With no formal training behind her, Rachell clearly has talent. Her colours are bright, clean and attractive. She has an equally bright future, in our opinion.
