Jonathan Grange

An airbrush artist for 24 years, Jonathan has painted murals of different sizes onto canvas, public buildings, cars, boats, trucks and now surfboards.

Jonathan’s  murals on the public bathrooms at Stanmore Bay, Stillwater and Orewa were well publicized in the Rodney Times. He was also commissioned to paint the large mural in the under-road tunnel at Murrays Bay, North Shore, Auckland.

His first entry into a competition won Jonathan second equal prize in the Resene Mural Masterpieces Professional Category for a private commission.

The art on surfboards stems from Jonathans love of surfing, the sea, light and water. He fabricates the boards from Marine Plywood, airbrushes the image and then finishes it all off with polyurethane. These indoor artworks are unique and bear the artist’s signature and title on the back.

Jonathan is happy to do commissions of a size and shape to suit, with an image that is unique to you.
